Saw DHOOM2 during the weekend. On the release date, 24 Novemeber 2006 to be precise. The movie fell short of my expectations. So short that I didnot bother updating the blog..
Hrithik is Dhoom2 and Dhoom2 is Hrithik.He is just awesome in the looks, style and acting department.
Ash and bipasha are well there just to wear small out fits. Ash has a better role though. Bipasha is there for the front benchers. Bikini and sex appeal all the way.
Uday does make some chuckle worthy dialogues but Abishekh is wasted. Simply no comparison to Hrithik in terms of reel space.
The music is not as good as it should be but Dhoom2 will definitely be a hit thanks to the expectations, marketing and of course Hrithik.
But the action scenes are no where near as impressive as Hollywood. Some are just over done and totally illogical. But this movie is meant to entertain and Dhoom2 just does that. So forget about everything else and just enjoy the glossy cinema on the wide screen. At the end you will get a small twist as well. Which is predictable to a certain extent.
One may like this movie if the ticket is bought with the least of expectations. You will figure out what I ams saying as soon as the first whots commence.. Enjoy!
